Who We Are

The Southern Heads Association is a professional organization composed of twenty active, and former active heads of school of elementary and/or secondary accredited independent schools located in the states consistent with those found in the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS) and Cognia Accreditation.

The Association meets annually during the month of April at a site and date determined each year by the membership. Membership is self-perpetuating and determined by the voting members of the Association. The purpose of the Association is to provide opportunities intended to counsel, renew, and restore both members and their spouses alike for the responsibilities inherent in leading the best independent educational institutions in the region.
